Tour Hours

CityView Trolley is open year-round, 
seven days a week. Hours of operation are seasonal, subject to change and usually as follows: 

    Boston and Freedom Trail 
        May- August: First Tour: 9:30 AM; Last Reboard: 5:30 PM (frequency: 10-15 minutes) 
        September-November: First Tour: 9:30 AM; 
Last Tour: Weekdays 4:30 PM, 
            Weekends 5:30 PM (frequency: 15-20 minutes) 
        Winter: First Tour: 9:30 AM; 
Last Tour: 4:00 PM (frequency: 20-30 minutes) 

    Cambridge 
        April-October: First Tour: 9:30 AM; 
Last Reboard: 5:30 PM 
(frequency: 30 minutes).

Offerings

“Hop On and Hop Off” CityView Trolleys for a day filled with history, shopping and more. Visitors and staycationers alike can ride along the streets of Boston throughout the day; learning and exploring along the way. CityView offers general Boston and Freedom Trail tours year round, as well as a seasonal Cambridge tour between April and October. South Station serves as one of CityView’s many pickup and drop off points. 

CityView Tour Guides tell the tales of city’s past including the Boston Tea Party, Paul Revere’s Ride and Boston Massacre. Stops include such historic sites as the Old North Church, Paul Revere’s Home, the USS Constitution/Charlestown Navy Yard and the Bunker Hill Monument. And for those on the “retail therapy” track, CityView stops at some of Boston’s favorite shopping and dining haunts including Newbury Street, Downtown Crossing and Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Chinatown.

CityView ticket purchases also include a Free Harbor Cruise (May-October), a visit to The Sports Museum or Historic Walking Tour.
