The Children’s Advocacy Center, Fox 25, 105.7 WROR, Equity Office and the Retailers at South Station are teaming up for the Annual Holiday Toy Drive and we need your help! Donate a new unwrapped toy, game or book for children of all ages. You can drop-off donations between November 30 and December 16 at South Station. Special thanks to the Boston Police Department which has volunteered to help distribute donations and the Boston Public Health Commission, the parent organization of the Family Justice Center.

Holiday Model Train Exhibit

The Retailers at South Station are proud sponsors of the 2009 edition of South Station’s annual G-scale model railway display on the Grand Concourse. Beginning Tuesday, December 1, designer and builders Ralph Williams and Eric Peterson assemble their team to start the week-long construction process. The Holiday Express exhibit is scheduled to delight children of all ages beginning Friday, December 5 and continuing through January 10, 2010.

NFTE Holiday Sale: East Boston HS

Team In Training®

Team In Training® (TNT) is the world’s largest endurance sports training program. The program provides training to run or walk a whole or half marathon or participate in a triathlon or century (100-mile) bike ride. Participants raise funds for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma research and patient services in exchange for training, support and lodging and airfare to the event of their choice. Since TNT’s inception, 380,000 participants have raised over $750 million.

EXHIBIT: Student Art from The Cotting School

Founded as an experiment in 1893 by two Children’s Hospital surgeons, Cotting School was the first day school of its kind for students with physical disabilities. Cotting creates an inclusive community which fosters academic achievement, skill development and social-emotional maturity. Today, Cotting is a Chapter 766-approved private day school which has been accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and which serves120 children ages 3-22 with special educational needs.
